Meet Us
Lee & Mary Cook
Owners
Grandville KnowledgePoints
Hello, we are the Cook Family, Lee, Mary, Alex, Brian, and Elizabeth. We live in Grandville and have been active in the schools and community for many years. We believe education is one of the most important aspects of one’s life, next to one’s faith. We also believe it is important to serve one’s community to make it a better place for everyone. Based on these values, we believe we were called to establish a KnowledgePoints franchise here in Grandville to serve the families of the west Grand Rapids metro area.
We believe KnowledgePoints can help students to be more successful, whether it is to catch up or advance in reading and math or master study and writing skills. We realize the world is more competitive than when we went to school and students today are expected to master material much sooner. In addition, our kids will need to meet the new Michigan high school requirements (math, science, English) to graduate. We believe that KnowledgePoints will be a valuable resource that can come alongside parents and teachers to help students achieve their potential. When students struggle in school, it often takes a toll on their self-esteem. KnowledgePoints can help restore their confidence, not only in the classroom, but in life.
Our hope for our own children is that they will do their best in school so that they will have the best possible opportunity to attend the college of their choice. KnowledgePoints also offers ACT/SAT preparation courses, which we hope will help many students in the community to reach their college dreams as well.
