Sandra Bublis

Director of Learning - Ft. Myers KnowledgePoints


Sandra Bublis
is the Director of Learning for the KnowledgePoints center in Fort Myers.  She has a M.Ed. degree in Curriculum and Supervision from Northern Illinois University and a BS degree in Elementary Education from Ball State University.  Mrs. Bublis taught 3rd grade for 9 years in Wheaton, Illinois before moving back to Indiana where she created instructional materials and executed the curriculum of core academic subjects for 17 years in the Gifted and Talented program, grades 3-6, in East Chicago, Indiana.

Not only does Mrs. Bublis have a long career in education, she has also worked in property management for over 16 years.   In 2000 she accepted a position in Starke County, Indiana where she developed advertising content for tourism and managed a visitor’s bureau and two downtown development committees.  She also established and funded four not-for-profit organizations.

Mrs. Bublis enjoys reading, working Sudoku puzzles, and entertaining her family.  She has been the Director of Learning since the opening of the center in April 2005.

Beverly Becton

Beverly Becton
is a KnowledgePoints tutor who has a BA degree in English from Lynchburg College in Virginia.  She previously was a full-time instructor for Southwest Florida College and taught English, Communications, American Literature, and Basic English.  Ms. Becton was also a part-time teacher for Lee County Florida in adult and community schools where she prepared students for the English, history, and essay sections of the GED and helped students strengthen their skills in reading and basic math.

Doreen Benton

Doreen Benton is a KnowledgePoints tutor who has been with the center since its opening.  She is currently teaching first grade at Gulf Elementary on Cape Coral.  Prior to Gulf Elementary, Ms. Becton taught at Allen Park Elementary in Ft. Myers in 1st – 3rd grades while focusing on the intensive reading model for each grade level.  She also has the distinction of achieving the Reading Renaissance Model Classroom and has Master Classroom status.  She has a BA from University of South Florida and a Florida Elementary Education Teachers Certificate.

Karen Green

Karen Green is the math tutoring specialist at KnowledgePoints tutoring center.  She has a Masters degree in Elementary Education from the State University of New York at Buffalo.  She currently teaches eighth grade math at Challenger Middle School on Cape Coral and previously, Ms. Green taught at Gateway Charter School.  She has many teaching years of experience which includes working with public, charter, and private school curriculum where she has conducted demonstrations to in-service classes and developed lesson plans for classroom instruction.  Prior to teaching middle school, Ms. Green was Managing Director of Education for Sylvan Learning Center in Davie, Florida.  She has a Florida Professional Educator’s Certificate in Elementary Education (K-6th), Mathematics (5th-9th), and an ESOL endorsement.

Susie Golubock - Owner

Susie Golubock is the owner of the Fort Myers KnowledgePoints franchise.  She has a M.Ed. in Early Childhood Development from North Texas State University and a BS in Elementary Education with a Special Education endorsement from the University of Texas in Austin.  She has taught for 13 years in both Texas and Georgia in early childhood, elementary education, and in special education.  Ms. Golubock was an adjunct faculty member at Brookhaven Community College in Dallas, Texas in Child Development.  She also directed Zale Corporate Child Care Center where she managed and trained teachers, maintained a day care budget, developed curriculum, and consulted with other businesses.  Currently, she enjoys reading, gardening, and traveling.
